Create smoother, more controlled marble nail art with Galaxy Undercoat by Mitty. This specialised 10ml formula helps compatible marble ink flow across the nail surface, giving artists greater control over movement, placement and the finished pattern. It can also be used as a blooming gel for soft, expanding nail-art effects.

The formula is designed to work with Mitty Galaxy Splash Coat marble inks. It supports creative techniques ranging from flowing colour and abstract patterns to flowers, leaves and customised salon designs. By helping the ink move across the prepared surface, the undercoat makes it easier to guide the final appearance instead of leaving the colour fixed exactly where it first touches the nail.

Marble Ink and Blooming Gel Effects

This nail-art base can be incorporated into services over a correctly prepared and cured gel-polish colour. White provides a clean background for vivid marble patterns, although other suitable base shades may be selected to create different visual effects.

Apply drops or brush strokes of marble ink over the partially cured undercoat. More than one compatible colour may be used to build layered, blended or contrasting artwork. Allow the marble ink to dry completely before sealing the design with an appropriate top coat.

Applying Galaxy Undercoat

1. Prepare and shape the nails, then gently buff the surface.
2. Apply the required bonder, primer and clear base coat for the selected nail system.
3. Cure the base coat according to its product directions.
4. Apply a thin layer of the chosen gel-polish colour and cure completely.
5. Apply a thin layer of the undercoat and cure for 10 seconds using the referenced Mitty 54W LED lamp.
6. Add Galaxy Splash Coat marble ink using drops or controlled brush strokes.
7. Allow the ink to dry completely for approximately 45 seconds.
8. Finish with a compatible non-wipe top coat and cure as directed.

Curing times may vary according to the lamp model and output. Always follow the instructions supplied with the lamp and accompanying nail products.
